One of the problems in recent time to both men and women is the accumulation of excess belly fat. No matter how much efforts we are putting in order to put it under control, it always prove abortive. We put our food under control, we control our diet, we eat less, we give up on most of our favourite food and yet, we still continue to accumulate more belly fat. We read and heard a lot about the cause, but nothing seems to be real.

In reality, men are confirmed to store more fat in the abdominal area more than their women counterpart,  Most women at earlier age, let me say (before they are 40), most women tend to store most of their fat in the hips, thighs, and buttocks. 

That is the major reason why an average woman has bigger of those things than men. Immediately after this age, their estrogen levels drop, and their body fat is redistributed to the abdomen. At this point, women can also accumulate as much as possible belly fat.

Either you are a man or women, there is no point to be worried, as am going to use this post to explain all that surrounded the belly fats and possible way to prevent or control it. If you are have been worried for too long because of your increasing level of fat,  I understand that it is not easy to burn, but once you are sure of the causes and the possible control measures, am sure you are good to go.

1) Intake Of Excess Calories: Though till now, there is no single cause of fat belly, as some claimed it could be associated with genetics, age, diet or the way we use our body. This means that a lot of factors come to play. But one of the major cause is eating high fat food. The intake of excess calories of any kind can increase belly fat. 

Do you know where those excess calories could come from? It could be from excessive alcoholic consumption, taking of much sweetened beverages, or consumption of too much food on a daily basis. So watch these.

2) Taking Of Excessive Trans Fat: We are all used to taking food such as margarine, pastries, cookies, crackers, fried stuff and other fast convenient food. Most of these nature of food contains high trans fat, which are created by partially hydrogenated oil. Trans fat is capable of increasing the amount of fat around the waist because it distribute fat tissue to the abdomen from other parts of the body.

3) Fast Food Consumption: In this recent time, most people are exposed to this. We take fast food more frequently than before. Due to the nature of our work and commitments, we are forced to cope along with fast food as the best option.   

Fast food are typically highly fat concentrated. The reason why we keep accummulating belly fat is because we continue to take large portion of fast food on a daily basis, which is calorie-dense food. Continues intake of this nature of food contribute seriously to over consumption of calories, weight gain, and an increase in belly fat.

4) Intake Of Excess Soft Drinks: In recent years...its more or less like soft drinks has taken over. We take them on a daily basis, we combine them with our meal, we take them alone, and we just come in contact with them in so many forms. 

You need to know that soft drinks and other sugar sweetened beverages are the major source of added sugars in our diet.So it is necessary to be aware of how much content of soft drinks you take on a daily basis.

Possible Control Measures Of Belly Fat
We are committed to make you look good and healthy... so we won't tell you the causes without some possible control measures.

1) Exercise And Green Tea Combine: If you are familiar with weight trainers, the moment you are done with your daily exercise with them, they offer you some green tea to complement it. The reality is that, green tea, in combination with exercise, could help you lose weight. 

Substances in green tea known as catechins stimulate the body to burn calories and enhance loss of belly fat. So if you are doing exercise without green tea, the best time is now. Start immediately.

2) Change Your Eating Habit: Nothing use to be such funny to me like seeing someone who wanna burn fat eating without control. You can't do that and loss weight. As one of my professor in University of Ilorin would say, 'you can't eat like elephant and loss weight, you rather become big like him.'

You have to watch what you eat, both in quantity and quality with the content. You need to reduce saturated fats, increase the amount of fruits and veggies you eat, and control and reduce your food portions.

3) Eat More Grains And Veggies: In order for you to loss belly fat, you need to add whole grains to your diet. A calorie-controlled diet rich in whole grains can trim extra fat from the waistline of obese subjects. Refined and other highly processed foods can contribute to weight gain and interfere with weight loss. So stay away from them.

Consumption of whole grains are far better than refined grains because they tend to be high in fiber and take longer to digest in the body. Therefore, their little intake satisfies your hunger better and helps lower blood glucose levels and reduce fat in the body.

Possible Dangers Of Belly Fat

If you refused to take any of these control measures, you might be exposed to any of these dangers due to accumulation of excess belly fat.

1) Shape Loss: Some times you will just hate your look in a very expensive dress you bought. Your tommy looks so big and uncontrollable. Its annoying because it gives you an unpalatable physical look.
2) Health Issue: Apart from the so terrible physical looks, belly fat is associated with serious health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. So you have to control this before it finally pose a health challenges on you.
